Turks and Caicos is a beatiful group of 45 islands and cays, of whichonly eight of these are inhabited. These two low-lying island groups,just south of the Tropic of Cancer in the North Atlantic Ocean, aregeographically an extension off the southeastern tip of the BahamianArchipelago (575 miles southeast of Miami). 90 miles north of theDominican Republic and Haiti.

A tropical marine climate with low humidity, the warm temperaturesof Turks and Caicos are moderated by the cooling breezes of theeasterly trade winds. Unlike neighboring Bahamas, they do notexperience cold waves in the winter or spring.
