Turks and Caicos is a beatiful group of 45 islands and cays, of which only eight of these are inhabited. These two low-lying island groups,just south of the Tropic of Cancer in the North Atlantic Ocean, are geographically an extension off the southeastern tip of the Bahamian Archipelago (575 miles southeast of Miami). 90 miles north of the Dominican Republic and Haiti.

A tropical marine climate with low humidity, the warm temperatures of Turks and Caicos are moderated by the cooling breezes of the easterly trade winds. Unlike neighboring Bahamas, they do not experience cold waves in the winter or spring.
